Let us LABOUR therefore to enter into that REST, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

At the top of this page in my Bible, one of the headings is "rest attained by faith".
Oh what a message for me today! How the frustrations and irritations accumulate in less than twenty-four hours. Problems with my ipad, problems with the internet, frustrations with school, frustrations with school work, frustrations with pupils, misunderstandings, a poor night's sleep, being hormonal because I'm pregnant.
AH! Just stop. Please let me hide!
No, just let me rest. Let me enter....no, let me LABOUR to enter into God's rest. If I am in His rest, I will cease from my own works (frustrated, irritable, short temper).
What a prayer for me today to claim by faith. This Christian life is living, breathing, daily walking, daily choosing to follow our Guide. It is a choice to be claimed by faith.

Amen! Some of the same frustrations here and it's not until I look in the mirror that I realize I'M the problem some of the time (and I'm not pregnant, lol) :)
