::link love::

One of the "best" things about running a household is making [all] the meals.

When my parents go on vacation, this is one thing I especially look forward to.  My parents were gone a large portion of June and I have carried on making meals for the family Monday through Wednesday each week.

I subscribe to the JDC monthly which is a sweet collection of printables.  Each month, Emily designs calendars [weekly, monthly, dinner], chore charts, notecards & labels, a printable and a project.

Trying to keep the menu ideas fresh for the family has been fantastic using Emily's dinner calendar.  As I look back over the past two months, we've only repeated a few of the meals.

I love organization and I love subscribing to JDC monthly.  Are you a subscriber there?  It's only $7.99 per month.  Check it out here >>> Jones Design Company

Happy Thursday!

::10, 9, 8, 7...::

Folks, the time of my departure is almost hereeeeeeeeee.

The time will fly so fast, I'm sure everything on "the list" will not get done before I leave.  Isn't that grand?!  All the months of anticipation will be over [snap] just like that.

See those lovely grandparents up above?  They are coming next week.  The same week that I leave.  And I am super happy to have the opportunity to see them before I fly out.

Oh. oh. oh.  Where am I going?  I will be gone almost an entire month visiting Leon in Zambia, Africa.  Well, as we say in America.  "I'm going to Africa." Never mind that there are fifty-four different, separate countries on the same continent.  I'm going to Africa.

In other news, an old blog that I have had for a while opened back up and [hopefully] there will be some blogging going over there about the trip.  There are zero frills...nothing cute, yet.  Go here >>> My Bright Corner

Happy middle-of-the-week day.

::a great deal for textbooks::

I have the most interesting website for college students to check out!

First of all, I have to mention that while in college, my on-campus job was to work in the bookstore.  I loved it!  One of the best times of the year was at the end of the summer when I started ordering textbooks.  I must say though, some of the sticker prices shocked me!  And when I went to school for that one-year-I-thought-I-wanted-to-be-a-nurse, the sticker prices for my books shocked me and my dad.

But I want you to check out Campus Book Rentals here

Here are a smidgen of the perks:

**save 40-90% off of bookstore prices [you can't beat that!]
**free shipping both ways [say whaaaat?!!!]
**can highlight in the textbooks [really???]
**flexible renting periods
**donatation to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

And, more perks........

So, check them out today before school starts!
